In Brugge...

On recommendation of one of my closest friends we decided to stop over in Bruges on our way to the homeland. I heard they had a fantastic christmas market on the main town square, de Grote Markt.

So we booked a room in a small little hotel called Hotel Koffieboontje (The Coffee bean), no more than 50 meters off the Grote Markt. The perfect location for strolling along the numerous christmas stalls and exploring the rest of this undeniably romantic town in the morning.

On the morning of the 16th we set out to discover Brugge in all its glory. What a beautiful place. It's almost like it's taken straight out of a Disney fairytale.

Another aspect of Brugge, not so much a Disney facet, is the generous variety of beers they have on offer. So we made sure we tried our fair share of them on our visit...
